The Bear Inn is a 17th Century coaching house that reflects Wiveliscombe's heritage. We have five bed and breakfast letting rooms on the third floor. The sloping ceilings and the floors all add to the charm and atmosphere of the building. All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities, a wash sink and a tv and freeview box. There are two shared bathrooms on the same floor as the rooms. Currently 2011 prices are £36.00 per night for a single occupancy and £50.00 (£25.00 p.p) per night for a double/twin room. Breakfast is inclusive, evening meals by arrangement.

The Bear Inn in Wiveliscombe is ideally suited for weekend breaks or overnight stays if you want to explore the beautiful Exmoor national park or fish at the two local resevoirs, Clatworthy or Wimbleball. It is only 11 miles from Taunton making us a convienient place to stay whilst watching the cricket at the County Ground, Taunton, home to Somerset County Cricket Club.
